Opening Meditation: Visualize yourself laying in a green grassy meadow. Your gaze lifts towards the sky as birds fly overhead and clouds shift into different creatures. Bring awareness to the ease of the moment, the peacefulness, and the joy. Perhaps you imagine yourself in your childhood, or at a time of pure happiness. Feel the warmth on your skin, the coolness from the breeze. Feel your body heavy and supported on the earth, the lightness in your heart. Bring your attention to the comforting rhythmic beat of your heart.

Threads:

  • Accept healthy, genuine love
  • Receive love, compassion, and joy. Give love, compassion and joy
  • Cultivate the same relationship with yourself that you wish from others
  • Notice the negative thoughts that come up. Acknowledge them tenderly. Then say "I am not my thoughts"
  • My body is healthy, my mind is brilliant, my heart is at peace, my soul is tranquil.
  • Be inspired by you, not those around you
  • "Practice love until you remember that you are love"
